San Antonio Spurs vs Oklahoma City Thunder
Start Time – 8:30 PM EST
The basketball gods have delivered what most fans were hoping for, and the two best teams in the Western Conference (the NBA?), as well as the two best young teams, meet up in the Western Conference Finals, as the San Antonio Spurs head to Oklahoma City tomorrow to face the defending champion Thunder.
However, all is not well with the Spurs, as De’Aaron Fox and Luke Kornet are both listed as questionable to play tomorrow due to injuries. And the news gets worse for the visitors, as the Thunder’s secondary star, Jalen Williams, has been given the all-clear to return to the court tomorrow night. As if Oklahoma City needed more things to break in their favor.
No, OKC won’t need luck to win this series against the upstart Spurs – they’ll just have to play close to their potential to dispatch the young upstarts. After crunching the applicable numbers, my line for Game 1 is Oklahoma City -7.5, so I like the Thunder to win and cover the spread at home.
