It’s come to this. One more game to decide the winner of this wild Eastern Conference Second Round series between the Montreal Canadiens and the Buffalo Sabres. But who’s going to score tomorrow, most importantly? For my NHL goal scorer parlay for Monday (May 18th) NHL Predictions, we’re off to the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. Let’s hit the ice!
NHL Goal Scorer Parlay For Monday (May 18th): NHL Predictions
Montreal Canadiens vs Buffalo Sabres
Start Time: 7:30 PM EST
Scoring has not been at a premium in this series between the Montreal Canadiens and the Buffalo Sabres, with 45 pucks finding the back of the net through the first six games, including 11 goals last game. Let’s pick a goal scorer from each team for Monday’s Game 7.
First, for the home side, the Sabres. My theory that Alex Tuch is due to score since he’s getting so many shots on goal has yet to pay off, so I’m not going with him tomorrow (which means he’ll score). Instead, I’m taking the low-hanging fruit, and I’m grabbing Buffalo’s top sniper, Tage Thompson. TT scored in Game 6 (who didn’t, other than Tuch?!), giving him a team-best five goals in the playoffs to go along with his team-best 40 regular-season goals.
For the visitors, let’s go with the obvious choice as well: Cole Caufield. After scoring 51 regular-season goals, Caufield has four playoff goals, including three in this series.
NHL Goal Scorer Parlay: Tage Thompson + Cole Caufield (+643)
