Philadelphia Flyers vs Pittsburgh Penguins
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
The Philadelphia Flyers pulled off the upset of their in-state rival in Game 1 of their series with the Pittsburgh Penguins, but my pick to score a goal for the Flyers, Owen Tippett, didn’t get on the board.
Tippett did have three shots on net, though, so I’m going back to him again for Game 2. With a team-best 28 goals this season, Tippett could be due.
Anaheim Ducks vs Edmonton Oilers
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
The Anaheim Ducks didn’t let their porous defense (they allowed the fourth most goals per game in the league) stop them from making the playoffs. However, the bad news for them is that they are facing the Edmonton Oilers in the First Round.
Connor McDavid and company should feast on the Ducks’ defense. I’m going with McDavid, who had eight goals over his last 10 games, to find the back of the net at least once tomorrow night at home.
