Daily NBA Player Props – April 9th
Jayson Tatum – Over 3.5 Three-Pointers (-103)
Tatum has a solid opportunity to take over the offense on Thursday with a pair of players banged up. Both Jaylen Brown and Derrick White are listed as questionable with some nagging injuries. This late in the season, those questionable tags turn into outs more often than not. With Tatum already 3-2 against this mark in his last five, the extra volume should put him over the edge.
Gui Santos – Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (-122)
Santos has been money for the Warriors from deep lately, especially when it comes to this projection. He’s hit multiple three-pointers in four of his last five games and is averaging 2.4 over that period of time. Now he gets the Lakers, who are a middle of the pack team in terms of defending the tree-pointer. However, while they’ve been good this year, they did let up 21 last game and have averaged letting up 18.0 per game in the last three. Those numbers put them near the bottom of the league as of late.
Andrew Wiggins – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+167)
Wiggins has been good from beyond the arc lately. In fact, he’s 5-1 against this line in his last six games. The defense of Toronto is undoubtedly dragging this line down for him. While I do expect him to have a bit more of a hand in his face on Thursday, with the run he’s on, I’m not backing down from this number.
