I’m so over All-Star Games, especially what the NBA offers up each year. It’s especially annoying how they keep switching up the format of the game, thinking that will change anything. It’s the effort level of the players that’s the issue. Anyhow, old man yelling at clouds rant is over – let’s win some money. Here are your NBA predictions and preview for Sunday, February 15th (All-Star Game).
NBA Predictions & Preview For Sunday, February 15th (All-Star Game)
Team World vs Team Stars vs Team Stripes
Start Time – 5:00 PM EST
This year’s new All-Star format, designed to address the issues with the All-Star Game, is a three-team round-robin tournament featuring two USA teams and a World Team, with each team playing four 12-minute games. Whatever.
Additionally, since this is the NBA, many of the top players (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry) will likely miss the game due to injury. Despite the absence of SGA and Giannis, Team World remains the best team on paper heading into action, with Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, and Victor Wembanyama leading the way.
The two USA teams – Team Stars and Team Stripes – have fairly even rosters in my eyes, but I’m leaning slightly to Team Stars as being the better squad. So that’s how I’m going to handicap these games: Team World > Team Stars > Team Stripes.
Best Bet: Team World ML vs Team Stars (-135), Team Stars ML vs Team Stripes (+105), Team World ML vs Team Stripes (-130), Team World to win Championship (+155)
2025/6 Overall Record: 119-101 (54%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $537.93
Return on Investment: 2%
