The first half of my parlay comes from the day’s very first game, so I hope my choice gets to bed early on New Year’s Eve and behaves himself. And that player plays for the home side, the Ottawa Senators – Tim Stutzle.
After only scoring 24 goals last year, the winger is having a much better 2025/26, with 19 goals already, on pace for his first 40+ goal season. And he’s netted eight over his last 10 games.
Nashville Predators vs Seattle Kraken

We go from a young pup in Stutzle to one of the NHL’s graybeards – 35 year old Steven Stamkos of the Nashville Predators. A two-time Richard Trophy winner as the league’s top goal scorer, Stamkos is up to his old tricks again this year.
While the center has 17 goals this season, more than than half of them (nine) have come over his last 10 games, so he’s hot heading into the new year.
