With us reaching a ‘in case of emergency, break glass’ situation if we plan on making a profit this month, I’m going with the obvious play for tomorrow. The two hottest players in the league also happen to be the two best players in the world.
The hottest is the Edmonton Oilers’ Connor McDavid, with 10 goals over his last 10 games. McDavid is now only two goals away from the 26 he scored in 67 games last season.
Los Angeles Kings vs Colorado Avalanche
Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
The second-hottest player in the league, with nine goals in his last 10 games, is of course the Colorado Avalanche’s Nathan MacKinnon. I say ‘of course’ because he’s been the hottest player all season long.
MacKinnon leads the NHL with 31 goals, after only scoring 32 last season, and is on pace for a career-best 69 (nice).
