Miami Dolphins vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Start Time: 8:15 PM EST
The AFC East’s Miami Dolphins and the AFC North’s Pittsburgh Steelers may have won-loss records only separated by one game (Miami is 6-7, Pittsburgh 7-6), but their playoff outlooks couldn’t be more different. The Steelers are pretty much a lock (77%) to see postseason action after beating the Baltimore Ravens last week, while the Dolphins, for all intents and purposes, are eliminated (less than 1% chance of making playoffs).
But that doesn’t mean that Pittsburgh doesn’t have work left to do or can take the suddenly hot (four straight wins) Miami squad lightly tomorrow night on Monday Night Football. The fact that the game is in frigid Pittsburgh, and not balmy Miami, is a plus for the Steelers, as the Dolphins are only 2-4 on the road.
My line is Pittsburgh -5.5, so I expect the Steelers to cover for us as my best bet for Monday.
