Miami Heat vs Orlando Magic
Start Time – 6:00 PM EST
The NBA Cup has totally screwed up the NBA schedule, so we’re left with only two games on the slate tomorrow, both Cup quarterfinal matchups. We began with the Battle of Florida.
This game is less intriguing now that the Magic’s Franz Wagner is out for up to a month after spraining his ankle. But they have Paolo Banchero back, so there’s that. I still like Orlando, as Miami is a bad road team. My line is Orlando -4.
Best Bet: Orlando +1.5 (-120)
New York Knicks vs Toronto Raptors
Start Time – 8:30 PM EST
The other East quarterfinal game has Atlantic Division foes, the New York Knicks and the Toronto Raptors, doing battle in Toronto. After a hot start to the season, the Raptors are coming back down to earth, losing three straight and five of six.
The Knicks may be without Karl-Anthony Towns tomorrow with a calf injury, and I only have New York as a 3.5-point favorite if KAT plays. So I’m going with the Raptors as a home dog.
Best Bet: Toronto +4.5 (-110)
