MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 111
UFC Fight Night: Royval vs Kape (aka UFC Vegas 111)
Main Card Start Time: 10:00 PM EST (ESPN2/ESPN+)
This might be your typical UFC Apex Fight Night card, but at least we get flyweights in the main event. The little guys tend to always put on a show. In this case, it’ll be top contenders Manel Kape and Brandon Royval’s chance to shine.
I’m going with Kape to prevail in this five-round main event. ‘Starboy’ started slowly in his UFC career, but he’s been shining lately, finishing his last two opponents. While Royval may be a better striker in terms of volume, Kape has the power to get the job done. Plus, I expect him to be the better grappler in this matchup.
