Washington Capitals vs San Jose Sharks
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
We have a short slate of games in the NHL tomorrow, but I found the team most likely to win (in my opinion) at a nice price, so we’re good. And that team would be the 15-9-2 Washington Capitals.
The Capitals headed into action on Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Kings rolling, winning four straight games and seven of their last eight. They are an extremely well-balanced team, ranking in the top five in the NHL in both offense and defense.
While the San Jose Sharks are a much-improved team this season, they still aren’t on the Capitals’ level. The Sharks are average on offense, but among the dregs of the league on defense, giving up the 24th most goals in the league this season.
Perhaps most importantly, the Capitals are a very strong team on the road this season, holding a 6-4-1 road record as of this writing.
