While Americans will be busy feasting on Thanksgiving spreads this week, they will not be feasting on any MMA action. No UFC event. No PFL event. Not even any of the regional promotions anyone has heard of are up and running. This coming week is a famine in the MMA world. MMA Prop Pick of the Week: UFC 323
UFC 323: Dvalishvili vs Yan 2
Start Time: 6:00 PM EST (Dec 6th) – (ESPN2/ESPN+/PPV)
I normally don’t play round props in MMA, but this one was too easy to pass up. Lightweights Terrance McKinney and Chris Duncan will do battle on the prelims at UFC 323, and the fight isn’t getting out of the first round.
How am I so sure of that? Because ‘T.Wrecks’ McKinney is involved in it, that’s how. McKinney knows he isn’t paid by the hour, so he gets in and out of the cage with haste. McKinney hasn’t seen a second round in five straight fights, and 13 of his last 15 fights haven’t gone past the five-minute mark, win or lose.
