We’ll start things off down in Florida, where the Tampa Bay Lightning welcome the Calgary Flames to town. And welcome is the word for it, because the Flames are not a good hockey team, on either end of the rink.
So, someone (probably many) on the Lightning is going to score on Wednesday night. I’m going with the hottest one, Brandon Hagel, who has eight goals over his last 10 games.
Boston Bruins vs New York Islanders
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Now we’re heading north to Long Island, where the New York Islanders host the Boston Bruins on Wednesday. While these aren’t the Bruins we’re used to seeing in recent years, they do have at least one bright spot this season.
That would be Morgan Geekie, who, after netting a career-high 33 goals last season, already has a league-best 17 this year. Let’s make it 18 (or 19) tomorrow night.
