Best Affiliate Sites to Find Sites for Betting on This Year’s Ashes

The Ashes are fast approaching with the battle for the Urn restarting on 21 November. Australia is chasing a fifth straight series victory after a 2–2 draw in England in 2023 kept the Urn. England, under the leadership of Ben Stokes, are aiming for its first Ashes win in 10 years, having last triumphed at home in 2015.

It’s been even longer since England won in Australia. Andrew Strauss was the last England captain to lift the Urn down under back in the 2010/11 series. A series to remember, it featured a run of absolutely unforgettable matches, and Alastair Cook’s record-setting total of 766 runs.

Before you pick a side, pick your platform. I’ve scored the top affiliate sites for Ashes betting, run by real experts, rich in sportsbook choice, and simple to navigate.

My criteria for finding the best affiliates

Here’s what I consider when looking for the best affiliate sites:

  • Expert team: I only take recommendations from a team who know exactly what they’re talking about, which is why it’s important that they have experience in the field.
  • Wide variety of sportsbooks: There should be a wide range of sportsbooks to choose from to ensure everyone can find an option which suits them.
  • User experience: It should be easy to locate the cricket sportsbooks a provider has available. Overall, I want the site to be simple to navigate with a helpful top list.

Now that we know how I’ll be evaluating the affiliate sites, let’s see how four of the best measure up. I’ll be awarding each a mark out of six runs.

1.BitEdge.com, Top performer – 5.8/6 🏏🏏🏏🏏🏏🏏 Runs

It’s easy to locate the Ashes betting options on offer at BitEdge.com as they have a separate section under the ‘Sports’ heading. I was impressed by the variety and quality of options they had on offer, especially when it came to things like bonuses and payment methods. I was able to find deposit matches, free bets, free spins and even the chance to win a prize! Whether you’re looking to splash the cash the traditional way, or you’re after crypto payments like Tether, Bitcoin or Litecoin, they have you covered.

Although there was plenty to choose from, I didn’t feel overwhelmed with the options available at BitEdge.com because of their handy toplist. It included pretty much everything I wanted to know, such as the payment methods, expert rating and top features of each site, allowing me to quickly tell whether a site was for me.

While all of that is impressive, the expertise behind their team is where BitEdge.com really ramps things up. They have 25 years of combined experience and boast some of the leading names in the industry, including Will Wood. Throughout his ten years in the industry, Will has become one of the top experts in sports betting, recognised for his thorough and honest approach to reviews. As a keen sports fan, you can rest assured that Will’s articles will tell you everything you need to know about the best places to bet on the Ashes.

My only criticism…

I only have one tiny criticism from my experience using BitEgde.com which is that I would like to see a couple of further sites to choose from. At the moment, there’s 10 cricket betting sites on offer with a decent variety in terms of bonuses, but I would like to see a few additional options just to make sure that everyone can find an option which fulfills all of their needs,

2. Gambling.com, Plenty of variety – 5.5/6 🏏🏏🏏🏏🏏 runs

Gambling.com is the place to go if you like having a lot of choices when picking your sportsbook. I was able to find 59 sites offering betting on this year’s Ashes. There was also plenty of variety in terms of bonuses too, including cashback, deposit matches and even free bets. I was also pleased by the wide range of payment methods available and relieved to see that all of their sportsbooks are reputably licensed.

I found Gambling.com simple to use when it came to finding cricket betting options. I only had to look under ‘Betting’ and then ‘Sports’ to find the section on cricket, which was much more straightforward than some of the other sites!

There’s a sizable team behind Gambling.com and all of them are highly experienced specialists with over a century of combined knowledge. Although Simon Sinclair was the only team member to mention cricket in their bio, he has all the relevant qualifications I like to see, including time spent as a reporter for the England and Wales Cricket Board.

What could make Gambling.com better?

Although their toplist included most of the information I was looking for, Gambling.com didn’t cover quite as much as some of their competitors. For example, they didn’t clearly mention which sports were available at each site, making checking they offered Ashes betting harder than it needed to be.

3. OLBG.com, Highly experienced team – 5.1/6 🏏🏏🏏🏏🏏 Runs

The standout feature about OLBG.com is without a doubt their team, which features some of the biggest names in the industry. I was staggered to read that they have combined experience of over 200 years and that most of their team has worked elsewhere in sports reporting before joining. I noticed a couple were specialists in cricket, including Luke Bradshaw Lee whose honest content makes finding the right sportsbook easy.

When I was eventually able to find the sites which offered Ashes betting, I was pretty satisfied with the variety available. Their page featured a top 10 list, but I was also able to find additional choices elsewhere on the site, making it easy for everyone to find an affiliate site that meets all their requirements. Their top list also made things simpler by including all the key information, such as payout times and minimum odds.

How could OLBG.com improve?

The main criticism I have based on my experience using OLBG.com is how difficult it was to find the cricket sportsbooks they offered. Their ‘Sportsbooks’ section is not categorised by sports, which I found frustrating as it made finding the right option for me unnecessarily difficult.

After a while, I tried searching the site but still wasn’t able to find their cricket sites! Finally, I was able to locate a list of their top ten cricket betting sites for this year through their site map. I would certainly recommend that they add a way to filter their options based on sport or include separate sections.

4. SportsBoom, Easy to navigate – 4.6/6 🏏🏏🏏🏏 Runs

SportsBoom was one of my favorite sites to navigate as all their sections are clear and easy to find. To locate their cricket options, I simply hovered over the ‘Sports’ heading and then selected the ‘Cricket’ section. I also want to praise their toplist as it’s one of the best on this list. They cover everything from live options, sports, payment methods and the payout time of each site.

In addition, I was impressed by the variety of sites they have listed which included just under 50 to choose from. There was plenty of variety among the bonuses, such as low deposit, free bets, deposit matches and cashback. Overall, I feel confident that everyone could find a solid option.

The team behind SportsBoom was equally impressive with years of experience in the industry between them. Lucie Turner was the author of their cricket page and her extensive knowledge of sports, as well as her love for cricket, makes her a valuable expert. My one criticism about their team is that their profiles don’t include specific details, such as previous places of employment or number of years in the industry, which made understanding their experience difficult.

Where did SportsBoom fall down?

One thing I found massively confusing at SportsBoom was that their top ranked cricket betting site only had 2.8 stars out of 5! To include the site on their toplist to start with was bad enough, but then to have it in their number one position was frankly concerning. It was the only site on their top list below a rating of a high three, so I’m willing to view it as a mistake, but I would like to see their order changed!

Which affiliate site is the best for betting on the Ashes?

There’s a sizable gulf between BitEdge.com and the rest of the options on our list. Just like the best cricket teams, they’re strong in all areas. I found it easy to locate the cricket betting sites they had available through their dedicated section and there was enough variety to ensure that most people could find one which meets their preferences, regardless of things like budget or preferred payment method.

I also knew that their options were high-quality thanks to the wealth of experience behind their team. Although there’s always room for improvement, my experience at BitEdge.com stood out for all the right reasons and I would recommend giving it a try when you’re betting on the Ashes
