MMA Same Game Parlay of the Week: UFC 322
UFC 322 Flyweight Fight: Valentina Shevchenko vs Weili Zhang
Start Time: 6:00pm EST (ESPN+)
One of the best spots on this card for same-game parlay action is in the co-main event. Both of these fighters are evenly matched – given the near even moneyline – which means we’re likely in for some back and forth action. That should allow each of these ladies to rack up some stats.
The stat I expect the champ to rack up is the takedowns. You’d have to go back to her title defense in 2019 against Liz Carmouche to find a fight where she didn’t score two takedowns. Fighting a wrestler in that fight, she only shot a single takedown, which she did get. In her 18-fight UFC career, there has yet to be a fight where she attempted at least two takedowns and didn’t succeed on two of them. That means basically this bet comes in on her intent, which I think will be there.
On the other side, I’m going with the significant strikes of Weili Zhang. In her last four fights that went the full 25 minutes, she had at least 65 in three of them. Being that I expect this one to eventually hit the cards, I like Zhang to land enough to get this to cash.
