Daily NBA Player Props – November 8th
Dyson Daniels – Over 5.5 Assists (-107)
I have to imagine it’s the season average that is keeping this assists line so low. That’s really the only explanation as Daniels has been consistently over this mark as of late. In his last five games, he’s hit the over in four of them. That includes last night, where he ripped off eight dimes in a losing effort against Toronto. In a closely contested contest against the Heat, I’ll be looking for him to dish out a few.
Scottie Barnes – Over 7.5 Rebounds (+117)
Speaking of season averages keeping projections low, let’s take a look at Scottie Barnes on the boards lately. The Florida State product has not only been over this mark in three of his last four games, but he’s managed to hit double figures in each of those as well. With the exception of Joel Embiid, the 76ers play a small lineup. He’s been keeping the minutes short early in the season, which should leave plenty of chances for Barnes to snag his rebounds mark.
Deni Avdija – Over 24.5 Points (+122)
It’s quickly become clear that Avdija is the guy that the Blazers are going to look to on the offensive side of things. He’s led the team in scoring on the season and second place in that category comes off of the bench. Not only is he the first look, but he’s been stepping in up lately. In the last two games, he’s put up 29.5 per game and set season highs in shot attempts and free throw attempts. He’ll look to keep that going in what should be a competitive game with the Heat.
