Daily NBA Player Props – October 23rd
Chet Holmgren – Over 17.5 Points (-115)
Nobody came out firing on the 2025-26 season like Chet Holmgren. Not only did he score the league’s first points of the year, but he went for 13 of the team’s first 15 points. That means he was only five points away from this mark with still three quarters to play – although it wound up being five quarters to play. While I don’t expect him to be quite so hot in this one, the Pacers no longer have Myles Turner down low, which should give Holmgren more second chances here.
Pascal Siakam – Over 19.5 Points (-110)
Playoff Pascal had me sold last year. Not only did he break out in a big way, but he showed the Pacers that they didn’t have to dish out cash for Myles Turner. Instead they could rely on him to show up in big moments and did he. He racked up nearly 1.5 three-pointers per game in every series to go with a load of downlow scoring. Now, with a frontcourt that isn’t blowing anyone away, he’ll be the focus of those Andrew Nembhard passes.
Al Horford – Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (+130)
We tried to dig deep on this prop on opening night and Horford started with a bang. He hit his first three-pointer in the first quarter and then missed the remaining three attempts. Steve Kerr has mentioned he might start against bigger lineups. The Nuggets are a touch bigger, which means we could see him start and be on the court more. If that’s the case, I think he’ll find his second bomb Thursday.
