Minnesota Vikings vs Los Angeles Chargers

We get some NFC vs AFC action this week on Thursday Night Football, with the worst team in the NFC North, the 3-3 Minnesota Vikings, traveling across the country to visit the 4-3 Los Angeles Chargers, second place in the AFC West. And I’m taking the last-place team that’s on the road?!
That’s right, the Minnesota Vikings on the spread is going to be my play in this game. First off, the Chargers historically have one of the weakest home-field advantages in the league, worth less than two points per home game. And the Vikings are better on the road than at home this season, going 2-1 away from U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Vikings rank better on offense and defense than the Chargers, who are below average in both categories. Plus, I don’t even need Minnesota technically to win tomorrow night – they just need to keep it within a field goal for us to hit the paydirt.
