UFC Fight Night: de Ridder vs Allen (aka UFC Vancouver)
Start Time: 4:00 PM EST – (ESPN+)
The UFC octagon returns to Vancouver, British Columbia, for the seventh time tomorrow, but the first time since 2023. And while the card, not surprisingly, is packed full of Canadian talent, the middleweight main event pits a Dutch fighter up against an American one.
And I’m going with Reinier de Ridder from the Netherlands to continue his undefeated run through the UFC’s 185-pound weight class. Since joining the UFC, the grappling wiz has won all four of his fights and has shown himself to be better on the feet than I had originally had him pegged for.
His opponent on Saturday, Brendan Allen, needs to grapple to win fights, and he isn’t on RDR’s level on the mat, nor on the feet. ‘The Dutch Knight’ continues his roll to a title shot.
