San Francisco 49ers vs Los Angeles Rams

As is often the case with Thursday Night Football, we’ve got a grudge match on the schedule this week, with the San Francisco 49ers heading down to Los Angeles to face their rivals, the Rams. Both teams are 3-1, deadlocked for first place in the NFC West.
The Rams are doing their best to end this rivalry, winning the last three meetings between the teams. And they have a good shot at making it four straight tomorrow night on their home field. That’s because the 49ers will be entering the game very undermanned.
San Francisco quarterback Brock Purdy made his return last Sunday after missing two games due to an injured toe. While the toe didn’t bother him at all during the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, it became sore later on Sunday night – so much so that he was unable to practice and has been ruled out for tomorrow’s game.
Joining Purdy on the sidelines in street clothes will be starting wide receivers Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall, and starting tight end George Kittle. That is too much missing firepower. The Rams will win and will cover the spread.
