Seattle Seahawks vs Arizona Cardinals
Start Time: 8:15 PM EST
We’ve got a rivalry game on Thursday Night Football this week, as the hated Seattle Seahawks travel to the desert to take on the Arizona Cardinals. Both teams are 2-1, with a close defeat at the hands of the undefeated San Francisco 49ers the only blemish on each team’s resume.
One reason why the Seahawks are so despised in Glendale is that they’ve beaten the Cardinals the last seven times they’ve played. That’ll get you some heat with the opposing fans. However, I think Arizona can snap that slump tomorrow at home.
The advanced stats I use to handicap games have Seattle as a slight one-point favorite for tomorrow, but that is based on a small sample size (three games), and the Seahawks’ numbers are inflated from stomping the miserable New Orleans Saints last week. If you use last year’s stats, Arizona is favored by 3.5 points.
Regardless, I like the Cardinals to cover tomorrow night as my best bet.
