Detroit Lions vs Baltimore Ravens
Start Time: 8:15 PM EST
The weight of the quest for an undefeated season has already been lifted off the shoulders of the Detroit Lions and the Baltimore Ravens, as both teams lost their Week 1 games, only to bounce back with a victory in Week 2. Now, one of these two teams, which both had lofty expectations heading into this season, is about to drop to 1-2.
And I think that team will be the Ravens. Or, to be more precise, I expect the Lions to at least cover the spread tomorrow night. In what should be a firefight, with Jared Goff and Lamar Jackson quarterbacking powerhouse offenses, I think Detroit will at least keep it close for us.
When I based my number crunching on last year’s advanced statistics, I came up with the line Detroit -1; based on this year’s statistics, it’s about the same – Detroit -0.5. Either way, it’s enough for the Lions to cover for us, and that makes Detroit on the spread my best bet for Monday.
