Another wild NFL weekend is in the books, and I’ve got plenty of takes (and a few scars) to show for it. Week 2 gave us everything: breakout stars, total duds, and the kind of bizarre moments that only football delivers.
CJ Sullivan joined me on the show to kick things off with our Weekend Dads & Duds segment. Malik Nabers? Certified Dad. JJ McCarthy? Sorry, but Dud. We roasted the Giants’ defense, talked Travis Kelce’s extracurriculars, and even debated Daniel Jones’ future. Then we rolled right into the fun part: early Week 3 betting picks. We liked spots on the Packers, Ravens, Cowboys, Eagles, and even circled the Raiders-Commanders matchup as one to watch.
After CJ signed off, Producer Ryan jumped in for Extra Holes—where the football analysis takes a hard left turn into comedy. That’s when we rolled out our brand-new Fail Five segment. This week’s fails? Bo Nix’s awful interception, Travis Kelce’s shorts, Taylor Swift sneaking into a stadium like a Marvel villain, and yes, another NFL dildo sighting.
We wrapped things up by licking our wounds from a 2-5 week in Circa Million and plotting our revenge for Week 3. Spoiler: optimism is dangerous, but we’re still swinging.
