Storylines abound in this week’s AFC showdown between the Browns and the Ravens. For starters, the Ravens are still reeling from their come from behind loss to the Buffalo Bills last week and are looking to take it out on their next opponent. Second, Joe Flacco will make only his second start of his career against the team with which he won Super Bowl XLVII. This will be the first time the veteran quarterback enters Baltimore on the opposing side of the ball. Baltimore found themselves on the wrong side of a 34-19 lead heading into the 4th quarter of last week’s game against Buffalo. The Ravens self-destructed in the final frame allowing Josh Allen and the Bills to score 22 points in the final 15 minutes while putting up only 6 in retaliation. One bright spot of the day though was the 169 rushing yards Derrick Henry was able to gain against the Bills defense. His two touchdowns helped his team stake the early lead. Unfortunately, his late fumble may have cost them the win. He and his Ravens have a shot at redemption at home this week.
Cleveland hung tight against the Bengals last week losing to Cincinnati by just one point in a 17-16 slugfest. Flacco put up 290 passing yards in the game outgunning Joe Burrow who only managed 113 yards through the air against a tough Browns defense. Were it not for two costly interceptions by Flacco, Cleveland may have come away with a Week 1 win against their in-state rivals. The Browns are heavy underdogs in this match with most books giving +11.5 on the spread. Woof.

Derrick Henry Longest Rush Over 20.5 (-110 via BETMGM)
You don’t have to know ball to know how good King Henry is at being a running back. Last week was yet another showcase of his skills as he exploded for 169 yards against a decent run defense in Buffalo. He gained 49 of those yards on a single rush late in the second quarter of that game. In fact, Henry had three runs on the night that would have cashed this prop.

Jerry Jeudy Over 4.5 Receptions (-117 via DRAFTKINGS)
Jeudy managed to lead the Browns with 1,229 receiving yards despite all the turmoil in Cleveland at the quarterback position last season. The former Broncos wideout ended last year averaging 5.3 receptions per game. He managed to snare at least five passes in 10 of his 17 appearances in 2024 including both games against the Ravens. His Browns face a Baltimore defense that allowed four wide receivers to eclipse this total last week.
