After going 0-2 on my baseball daily best bets to kick off September, I’m ditching the diamond for the hardwood. For my best bet for Wednesday, September 3rd: WNBA Predictions, we’re headed to Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois, for a matchup between the league’s two worst teams. Let’s go!
Best Bet For Wednesday (September 3rd): WNBA Predictions
CONNECTICUT SUN VS CHICAGO SKY
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
The WNBA has quite a few team names that make compelling matchups when put together. Such as this game – who wins a battle between the sun and the sky?!
As mentioned in my opening, these are the two rottenest (it’s a word – I checked) teams in the WNBA, with the Connecticut Sun and the Chicago Sky combining for a record of 19-60. Stinky.
And the Sun had to go on a bit of a hot streak lately to get themselves up to nine wins – they were alone in the basement of the league all by their lonesome until the Sky crashed down to earth. Connecticut has also won its last two meetings with Chicago.
However, the Sky is a better home team (5-15) than the Sun is a road one (4-16), and once taking the home court advantage into the equation, my line is Chicago -3.5, so the Sky on the spread is my best bet for Wednesday.
