The Indiana Fever totally blew the doors off the Seattle Storm on Tuesday night, which isn’t good considering I was in on the Storm on the spread. Anyhow, back at it tomorrow. Here are your WNBA predictions and preview for Wednesday, August 27th.

Las Vegas Aces vs Atlanta Dream

Start Time: 7:30 PM EST

We’ve got a battle for second place in the league’s standings going down tomorrow night in the Gateway Center in College Park, Georgia, as the Atlanta Dream host the Las Vegas Aces. The Aces have been on an absolute tear to get this high in the standings, winning 11 straight games and 13 of their last 14.

They’ve also topped the Dream in both of their meetings this season. Which probably makes the Dream, who are 12-5 at home, due for a W. My line for this game is Atlanta -9, so the home team on the spread is my play.

Connecticut Sun vs Dallas Wings

Start Time: 8:00 PM EST

We go from two of the league’s best teams to a matchup between two of the worst – the 9-28 Connecticut Sun visiting the 9-29 Dallas Wings. And the Sun had to go on a hot streak (3-1) to get their record to this miserable level.

The spanner in the works for tomorrow night is that Dallas’s star rookie, Paige Bueckers, is ill and questionable for the game. Considering the Wings are missing other key personnel as well, I’m going with the visitors on the spread.
