UFC Fight Night: Dolidze vs Herandez (aka UFC Vegas 109)
Start Time: Saturday – 4:00 PM EST – (ESPN/ESPN+)
Since it’s the UFC Apex, we get a middleweight main event on Saturday, as is often the case. And while this matchup between #9 Roman Dolidze and #10 Anthony ‘Fluffy’ Hernandez doesn’t have any immediate title implications, the winner of it will be on a long enough winning streak to move himself closer to sniffing a title shot.
And that winner should be Fluffy. He’s better than Dolidze everywhere, but especially with his smothering, tricky wrestling and grappling skills. But Dolidze is tough and has never been finished in a fight, so I don’t expect Hernandez to be able to submit him or ground and pound him out. Fluffy via decision it is then.
