NEW YORK YANKEES vs ATLANTA BRAVES

We’ve got an American League East vs National League East series concluding tomorrow in Atlanta when the New York Yankees face the Atlanta Braves for the last time this season (other than possibly in the World Series). These have been two of the most unlucky teams in the majors this season, as the advanced stats project that both the Yankees and the Braves should have six more wins than they actually do.
The advanced numbers really like the Yankees, ranking them only behind the Chicago Cubs in the majors. So you’d expect New York’s luck to change eventually and the wins to start piling up. I see that possibly starting tomorrow. Yankees’ starter Marcus Stroman’s statline is ugly to look at this season, but he’s been solid in his last three starts since returning from injury.
After crunching the numbers, the Yankees should be about a run better than the Braves tomorrow, yet we’re getting them at a dog price.
