After only one WNBA game on the schedule on Saturday, we’re back to an almost full house tomorrow, with 10 of the league’s 13 teams in action. Here are your WNBA predictions and preview for Sunday, June 29th.
WNBA Predictions & Preview For Sunday, June 29th
Connecticut Sun vs Minnesota Lynx
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Look out, league – the Minnesota Lynx’s Napheesa Collier is back. After missing a week and a half, the MVP candidate posted a line of 26-7-6-1-2 in her return on Thursday. And that’s bad news for the Connecticut Sun, who are visiting Minneapolis tomorrow.
The Sun is having a terrible, miserable, no-good season, standing as well and away the worst team in the league. My line is Minnesota -27, so the Lynx are my play.
Best Bet: Minnesota -20.5 (-110)
Seattle Storm vs Golden State Valkyries
Start Time: 8:30 PM EST
My cash cow all season, the debuting Golden State Valkyries, actually let me down on Friday, not covering the spread for me. Now they host a very tough Seattle Storm team on Sunday night.
And I’m back in on the Valkyries. They are strong on their home court, the Chase Center, posting a 6-3 record. And they beat the Storm in their only other meeting this season, 76-70. My line for this matchup is Seattle -1.5, so the Valkyries plus the points is the value play to make.
Best Bet: Golden State +5 (-110)
Overall Record: 14-21 (40%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): -($814.23)
Return on Investment: -23%
