The UFC octagon continues its world tour this week, flying from Atlanta, Georgia, to Baku, Azerbaijan (which neighbors the country of Georgia), for this coming Saturday’s UFC Fight Night: Hill vs Rountree. For my MMA Prop Play of the Week: UFC Baku, I’ve got a knockout prop coming from Saturday’s prelims. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

MMA Prop Pick of the Week: UFC Baku
UFC FIGHT NIGHT: HILL VS ROUNTREE (AKA UFC BAKU)
Start Time: Noon EST – (ABC/ESPN/ESPN+)
The prelim fight I’ve zeroed in on for my prop play is a women’s bantamweight bout between Irina Alekseeva and Klaudia Sygula. Sygula looked out of her element in her UFC debut, where she got knocked out, and nothing on her resume indicates she’s capable of fighting at the UFC level.
So I’m taking a fighter who has never actually knocked someone out, Alekseeva, to knock out Sygula. More precisely, I see the ‘Russian Ronda’ taking Sygula down and ground and pounding her into a TKO win, like Melissa Mullins did to Sygula. And we’re going to win 9x our money when it happens.
