An epic Game 7 just completed in the Stanley Cup Playoffs as I’m typing these words, and we are in store for another one tomorrow night (a Game 7, that is – whether or not it’ll be epic is TBD). For my SGPN Parlay for Sunday (May 4th): NHL Parlay, we’re off to the loser goes home game in Winnipeg’s Canada Life Centre. Let’s go get that money!
SGPN Parlay for Sunday (May 4th): NHL Parlay
St. Louis Blues vs Winnipeg Jets
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
The Colorado Avalanche pulled a choke job in that aforementioned Game 7, mushing my best bet and my daily parlay on Saturday. And, speaking of choke jobs, here comes the Winnipeg Jets for a do-or-die game tomorrow night against the St. Louis Blues. The Jets have been an elite regular-season team over the past three years, yet have not made it out of the first round of the playoffs.
I’m tentatively saying that ends tomorrow night on their home ice. The Jets are a dominant home team and are so much more talented than the Blues. Winnipeg on the moneyline is the first half of our parlay.
And since Winnipeg’s star goalie Connor Hellebuyck turns into a sieve in the playoffs, I’m pairing that play with a play on the over 5.5 goals to be scored tomorrow night. Five of the six games in this series have gone over that total, and say what you will about tight, defensive play in decisive playoff games, but Saturday night’s Game 7 went over as well.
Best Bet Parlay: Winnipeg ML+ Blues/Jets Over 5.5 Goals (+262)
Overall Record: 86-196 (30%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): -($1,613.00)
Return on Investment: -6%
