Winnipeg Jets vs St. Louis Blues
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
The Winnipeg Jets put themselves on the brink of advancing to the second round after winning 5-3 on their home ice. But the win didn’t come without a cost, as first-line center Mark Scheifele was injured in the game and won’t be traveling with the team to St. Louis for tomorrow’s Game 6.
Yet, I’m taking a chance on the Jets, the NHL’s top team during the regular season. Not only were they one of the top teams, they were also one of the best on the road, while the Blues were below average at home. Winnipeg on the moneyline is the first half of our winning parlay.
We’re pairing that up with a play on the over. The total is set at 5.5 goals, which every game, save for Game 2, has gone over in this series. With Winnipeg goalie Connor Hellebuyck reverting to his playoff form, I think lots of pucks will find the back of the net tomorrow night.
