It’s time for my top NFL Week 9 props! With a loaded slate of action, I’m breaking down my favorite prop bets for this weekend. In fact, I feel so good about these prop bets that I’m loading them into a parlay! Let’s take a look at some of the top players that I’m taking this weekend.
Top 2026 NFL Week 9 Props
Malik Willis 2+ Passing Touchdowns (+154)
We’ll start off our NFL Week 9 props with a player I’m not crazy about. Therefore, you know I must feel good about this bet if I’m betting on him to perform. Malik Willis of the Miami Dolphins started the season off pretty slow, but has picked it up in the past handful of games. In fact, in the last two games, he’s thrown two touchdowns each against the Jets and the Patriots.
Now, the Dolphins are at home against the Lions. The Lions’ defense has not been good. They’ve allowed 2+ passing touchdowns in every single game this year. Yes, you read that right. Every single game.
At home, in nice weather, against the team that’s used to playing in a dome, I expect Malik Willis to keep his streak of two passing touchdowns going. I don’t hate him getting a rushing touchdown either, which is priced at +210. However, I feel better about the passing touchdowns.
Baker Mayfield Under 211.5 Passing Yards
First, I’d like to point out that this number was higher when I gave it out on Old-Fashioned Football. A prime example of why it’s a good idea to tune in live. I posted the YouTube link below this pick. Make sure you subscribe and set alerts so you know when we’re live. We went 5-1 on prop picks last week, including 4-0 in double-locks.
Anyways, let’s talk about Baker Mayfield. Since returning from a thumb injury, he’s started two games. He’s thrown for a total of 64 yards in those games. Not an average. A total of 64 yards. Now he’ll go against a red-hot Bears team in Chicago in some cooler fall weather with the wind and cold coming off the lake.
I’m not saying Baker can’t throw in the cold. However, this Bears team has been really good on defense at home. We just held Sam Darnold to 188 passing yards on the road in Seattle. The addition of Jeffrey Simmons will make it even hard to pass on this Bears defense. However, at home, they’ve been really solid.
The Bears have allowed an average of 184 passing yards in Chicago this year. If you take out Drake Maye’s 321 yards, that average drops to just 138. Therefore, you have a team holding other teams to fewer than 211.5 passing yards on average anyways. Then you put them against a quarterback who hasn’t thrown for this many yards in weeks. I’m definitely taking the under.
Jonah Coleman To Have 5+ Rushing Yards In Each Quarter (+140)
The next bet for our NFL Week 9 props is looking at rookie running back Jonah Coleman of the Denver Broncos. Coleman has only played three games this season. However, he’s averaged 10 carries per game in those, and an average of just under 45 rushing yards per game.
Last week, with RJ Harvey out, Coleman had the most carries on the team. He also had the best yards per carry for running backs on the team. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar outcome in this week’s game against the Panthers.
With RJ Harvey on the injured reserve, the backfield is left to Coleman and Dobbins. As much as I liked J.K. Dobbins coming in to this season, he just hasn’t had the same efficiency as expected. On top of that, the Broncos play the Panthers, who are allowing the fifth-most rushing yards per game at 115.57.
I expect Coleman to get the call often and take over this game. Betting him to get five yards a quarter feels like a gimme. This won’t be plus-money next week.
Tre Harris Over 31.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Tre Harris has quietly been consistent for the LA Chargers. It’s been overlooked because this team has been terrible, dropping all seven games so far. However, Harris has been involved and leads the team in targets. He also leads the team in receptions.
McConkey has outgained him by 30 yards. However, Harris has been the more consistent receiver. Now the Chargers go against the Texans, who are also struggling. The Texans are allowing a league-worst 195.86 receiving yards per game to wide receivers. So much for the vaunted Texans’ defense of last year.
Harris’s receiving yards are at 31.5 for this Week 9 matchup. He’s gone over this three times this year in six games, and finished with 31 last week. That game was against the Rams, who are allowing the second-fewest yards per game to wide receivers.
McConkey’s number at 51.5 is too high for how inconsistent he’s been. Grab Harris and take the over on a team that I think is going to have to throw the ball to try and win their first game of the season.
Biggest Blowout Sunday: Tampa @ Chicago (+1100)
Alright, maybe this one is biased because I’m a massive Bears fan. However, the Bears just beat the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle 34-17. Since Caleb Williams returned three weeks ago, the Bears haven’t trailed. They’ve also dominated in time of possession. The only tie has been 0-0. They’ve also scored over 30 points in those three games.
Heading into a bye, I expect the Bears to keep the momentum going as they take on the Tampa Bay Bucs at home. The Bucs have not looked great this year. Sure, they’ve leaned on their running game the past two weeks and pulled out some wins. The Bears are allowing the 5th-fewest rushing yards per game, though, right now.
Tampa dropped five of their first six games. Their defense has been good. Although, the Seahawks defense had been good too. The Bears put up 34 points on them, the most they’ve allowed all year. With the Bears’ improved defense, a strong offense, and playing at home, I think a blowout is in store on Sunday Night Football. Ben Johnson excels in primetime. At +1100, I’m taking this game to be the biggest blowout.
