NFL Week 7 Teaser
Carolina Panthers -2.5 to +3.5
The Carolina Panthers return home in Week 7 after defeating Philadelphia 25-14 before their bye week. Carolina now welcomes the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an important NFC South matchup. Moving the Panthers from -2.5 to +3.5 gives us six valuable points against a divisional rival. Instead of needing Carolina to win outright, this teaser allows the Panthers to lose by three points and still cover. Coming off an impressive victory last week, I expect the Panthers to keep it rolling at home.
Minnesota Vikings -6.5 to -0.5
The Minnesota Vikings host the Indianapolis Colts after enjoying their bye week during Week 6. Minnesota enters this matchup as a -6.5 point favorite, but our teaser reduces that number to -0.5. The adjustment means the Vikings simply need to win the game outright. Getting KOC and Brian Flores off of a bye is always a good option. This Colts team just lost to the Titans last week. I have no faith in the Colts, especially on the road
NFL Week 7 Teaser
New York Jets -4.5 to +1.5
The New York Jets welcome the Miami Dolphins in a Week 7 AFC East matchup at home. New York enters as a -4.5 point favorite, but adding six points moves the spread to +1.5. That adjustment gives the Jets protection even if Miami wins the game by one point. Rather than requiring New York to win outright, we’re buying room for a close divisional battle. You never know with these Jets. But it looks like the Jets will get Breece Hall back so the run game will definitely improve this week.
