Daily NBA Player Props – October 22nd
LeBron James – Over 30.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (+112)
We got our first taste of LeBron James in a Philadelphia jersey on Tuesday. They opened in Madison Square Garden and spoiled the championship victory lap of the Knicks. James put up a 14-9-7 line in that one for 30 PRA. If he can do that playing the champs on the road, imagine what he’ll look like in his home debut against the team that drafted him. Those two factors should be worth more than one more point.
Jalen Williams – Over 19.5 Points (+103)
Williams came in well below this mark against the Spurs on Tuesday, but the sheer volume they pumped through him gives me hope. He ended with 12 points on 5-of-16 shooting. If they keep feeding him the rock at that rate, I like his chances to come in over that mark. Facing a Denver squad who gave up 116.6 points per game last year shouldn’t hurt either.
Nikola Jokic – Over 10.5 Assists (+116)
We know Nikola Jokic has the ability to spread it out on the stat line, so what makes us so confidence that it’ll be the assists that get it done? The interior of the Thunder is particularly daunting. They spot a pair of centers in their starting lineup and have one shot blocker, Chet Holmgren, who is constantly in Defensive Player of the Year talk. As a result, I expect Jokic to get amongst the trees and dish back out for assists. He put up 13 and 14 dimes in his last two games against Oklahoma City last year.
