College Football Pick Of The Day (October 18th): NCAA Week 8 Spread Pick
For today’s Week 8 college football pick fo the day, I’m looking at the Delaware vs. Missouri State game. Delaware hosts Missouri State on Tuesday night at Delaware Stadium in a Conference USA matchup between two 2-4 teams. The Blue Hens are favored by three points in the first meeting between these two programs since both moved up to the FBS.
Missouri State has not won away from home this season. They’re 0-3 on the road. However, that was against Texas A&M, SMU, and Western Kentucky. The trip to Newark does come on a short week, though, which adds extra travel and schedule stress for a team still looking for its first road victory.
Delaware returns home after a 33-30 loss at Middle Tennessee. The Blue Hens have already secured two home wins this year and will play in front of their home crowd on Senior Day. Playing at home, combined with Missouri State’s road struggles, gives Delaware a clearer edge in this game. The line sits right at a field goal. However, I think the Blue Hens can win by a touchdown.
