There are five spots on a Circa Millions card and approximately 47 feelings about filling them. Welcome to another week of The Stephie Smalls Show, where the player props have upside and the decision process could use a licensed mediator.
Stephie welcomes former NFL player Nate “Dr Fax” Collins of Green Light with Chris Long for a Week 6 conversation that travels from Jacksonville optimism to Philadelphia despair, with a necessary stop at Matthew Stafford’s hair. Nate’s proposed adjustment for the Rams quarterback? Hair dye. Sometimes the film room misses things.
Fortunately, the betting analysis goes deeper than the follicles.
Collins likes Kenneth Walker for two or more touchdowns and Bryce Young to reach 300 passing yards. He also makes the case for Trey McBride to rack up receiving yards against the Rams. Smalls brings receiving props involving Ashton Jeanty, Tre Tucker and Denzel Boston, plus an Isaiah Likely receptions over that deserves your attention.
Then Producer Ryan arrives, and the show becomes a five-seat dinner party where nobody agrees on the guest list.
Browns +5.5? There’s an argument. Bears at pick’em? Getting warmer. Giants +1? Stephie has thoughts, supporting evidence and absolutely no shortage of personal investment. Jets +7 and Cardinals +12.5 also enter the conversation, while the Panthers, Steelers and Raiders hover nearby like people waiting for somebody to cancel a reservation.
The wrinkle: Circa’s locked spreads don’t always match the numbers available elsewhere. Getting the team right is one thing. Getting the number right is another.
Watch or listen to the full episode for the props, the reasoning and the ongoing negotiations over who belongs on the card. Then tell us which pick you would keep and which you would send directly to voicemail.
Five spots. Plenty of opinions. Nobody said choosing football bets had to be emotionally efficient.
