NFL Week 5 brings difficult questions. Can Brock Purdy keep running? Can Geno Smith keep avoiding interceptions? Can Producer Ryan recover emotionally from drafting Saquon Barkley in two fantasy leagues?
That last one might require an offseason.
On this episode of The Stephie Smalls Show, Smalls and Producer Ryan tackle NFL Week 5 player props, touchdown bets and the delicate business of agreeing on five Circa Millions picks.
Ryan makes his case for Purdy’s rushing over, Trevor Lawrence’s passing under in London and Amon-Ra St. Brown to score the first touchdown against Arizona. Yes, Ryan roots for the Cardinals. Apparently, watching every snap qualifies as both research and a cry for help.
The tight ends get their attention, too, with Sam LaPorta and Trey McBride reception props. Smalls brings her Stephception picks, targets running back receiving yards and returns to a Bhayshul Tuten prop with a line that has her ready to kiss it on the forehead.
Then comes the Circa debate. Smalls likes the Giants so much that she wants to bet against them. The Texans get one more chance to explain themselves. The Raiders earn some respect, and the 49ers enter the argument for the final spot.
There’s also Cowboys defense slander, fantasy football regret and enough bad decisions to fill a Sunday slate.
Watch or listen to the full episode for the reasoning behind the bets and the final five selections.
