Eagles +3 is the play from both Sean Green and Ryan Kramer in Rams vs Eagles, set for Sunday, October 4 at 1:00 PM ET in Philadelphia, PA. The Rams were 3-point favorites with a total of 43 when the guys taped on September 30 for the NFL Picks Week 4 episode, and the reasons for fading Los Angeles start with how much flying the Rams have done.

Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Eagles +3
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Eagles +3
Sean built the case around the Rams’ schedule. They went from LA to Australia and back, played the Giants, went to altitude in Denver and fell apart in the second half of a loss, flew home, and now head to the East Coast. He brought a number for it: over the last five seasons, by his count, teams that played at Denver and went back on the road the following week are 4-9-1 against the spread, and 1-6-1 when they lost there. Ryan added the clock. This is an early kickoff for a team that hasn’t had a normal start time yet, since even the Australia game was played at night.
The Eagles half of it is a bounce-back argument. Sean likes them off a loss and noted they’ve won outright the last six times they’ve been underdogs. An 0-3 ATS start, in his view, is why the number looks favorable. He thought they got away from Saquon after a great first half in their last game, and he wants Jalen Hurts using his legs against the Rams. Ryan’s critique is that the Eagles’ best moments have come out of structure, and Hurts looked bad at times in that game. Both landed on the same fix: run the ball.
The head-to-head history helps too. Sean pointed out that Sean McVay is 1-6 all-time against the Eagles, with the only win coming in 2020, and that Saquon had some massive games against the Rams in 2024. He also flagged the Eagles defense, which by his telling hasn’t forced a turnover through three games, a franchise record in the bad way. He expects them to come in bunches once the first one shows up. Ryan, meanwhile, senses a disagreement between Puka Nacua’s camp and the Rams about Nacua’s health, and said Nacua has been open that he isn’t fully himself.
Ryan did read the other side. The Eagles are off a short week with an international game coming up. He still liked backing an unpopular home dog while the Rams get bet like they aren’t playing anybody. Sean called it a close-your-eyes special and the ultimate foxhole spot. Ryan is on the Eagles, but he does not want to be in a foxhole with Eagles fans.
