College Football Week 4 Weekday Games Preview & Picks Recap
The College Football Experience (@TCEonSGPN) on the Sports Gambling Podcast Network continues its 2026 season coverage with college football Week 4 predictions, a full weekday preview and picks show. Pick Dundee aka (@TheColbyD) and Ryan McIntyre (@Moneyline_Mac) run the Thursday and Friday slate before they head to Conway for Liberty at Coastal Carolina. Does Jamey Chadwell’s Liberty cover 2.5 for Colby, or does Mac’s home dog take it? Is Temple live at plus-3.5 against Army at the Linc? Is Navy minus-6.5 at UAB the double lock of the week? Can Northwestern stay inside the number at Indiana, or even cash Mac’s first-half money line at plus-750? And does Dabo Swinney’s Clemson look lost on a Friday night in Berkeley against Cal?
From there the guys run a loaded Daily Dundee. They argue over where College GameDay should have gone instead of a fourth straight SEC stop, and Mac names South Carolina and Shane Beamer the biggest foxhole spot of the week. They work through nine conference title races and split on the ACC, where Mac still trusts Clemson and Colby goes Wake Forest. Then they rank the hot seat, the dumbest game of the week and the likeliest FCS upset, with UMass flying to Sacramento State running away with dumbest. College Football Week 4 Predictions: Thursday Night In Conway
Both hosts will be at Brooks Stadium on Thursday, and they are not on the same side. Liberty is a 2.5-point road favorite at Coastal Carolina. Colby admits he already has a lot of money tied up in Liberty. So he lays it. He also wants the over 50.5, even though the total dropped two points since noon. The forecast calls for 18 to 22 mile an hour winds, and he knows everyone else will be on the under. Mac wants the Chanticleers as the home dog in a hostile building. He liked Deuce Bailey in the opener. He also watched Coastal hang with Delaware last week before the Blue Hens made enough plays late.
Colby’s first touchdown prop comes out of the same game. Clayton Coppock Jr. is plus-1800 to score first. The sophomore receiver out of Atlanta already has three touchdowns this season, tied for the team lead. He also scored twice against West Virginia. Colby’s whole case is that he’s due. Then there’s the other Thursday game, Benedict at Tuskegee in Division II. Colby already lost money on Tuskegee once this year, and he goes right back to the Golden Tigers anyway. Mac takes the home team too. The Bet Detective texted back mid-show with the same pick. He calls it a revenge spot because Tuskegee gave up 38 unanswered points last year.
Army And Navy On A Friday Afternoon
Army at Temple kicks at 4 p.m. Eastern on Friday at the Linc, and this is where the two of them battle. Army lays 3.5 with the total at 48.5. Colby takes Temple plus the points and thinks the Owls are live on the money line. Temple has dropped two straight, including a gut punch at Toledo. He also leans the under. But Mac lays it with the Black Knights. Army had a bye to sit on its week two loss to USF, and Mac says they need this one like blood. He has them winning by a touchdown, because Temple has to get ready for the option right after that Toledo loss. Then Troy Chewning (@Troychewning) chipped in from the boards with Temple’s first-half money line at plus-145.
Navy is the one they agree on. The Midshipmen lay 6.5 at UAB with the total at 51.5. Colby lays it because Navy got embarrassed in the first half against FAU. He leans the under again, too. UAB just lost to Louisiana by seven. Next, Mac makes it a double lock and queues up an Army-Navy parlay. His logic is simple. Both academies lost games as favorites, then sat through week three byes, so he expects both to come out swinging.
Brown Gets The Lock, Howard Gets The Over
The Harvard-Brown line didn’t post until halfway through the segment. Harvard lays 13.5 on Friday night on ESPN2 with the total at 49.5. Colby first leaned Harvard. Then he decided 13.5 was too big a number this early in an Ivy season. Mac is on his Brown guys at home. Brown lost 41-7 last year, but it won outright the year before. So they lock up the Bears together and ride the home team on a Friday night.
Howard at Rutgers is a 42.5-point spread. Ted White, the old Howard quarterback, is now the Bison’s head coach, and his team still covered at Indiana earlier this month. Mac calls it a Rutgers get-right spot, and Rutgers has been horrible. Still, both hosts would take the points. But Colby’s actual bet is the over 53.5. He trusts White to move the ball enough for two scores, because he has no respect at all for the Rutgers defense.
Friday Night Dogs: Northwestern And Cal
Colby bet Northwestern at plus-21.5 on the SGP show the night before. The number is down to 20.5 now, with the total at 49.5. Indiana has yet to cover this year. Colby thinks David Braun has a team that can stay inside the number. Mac is on the same dog: Indiana wins by 17 and Northwestern covers. So it’s a double lock on the Wildcats. Then Mac goes further with Northwestern’s first-half money line at plus-750, riding the momentum from the Colorado win. His argument is that Indiana still hasn’t played anybody with a pulse. Chip Kelly’s offense also has a few tricks ready for a Friday night.
The late game crossed zero overnight. Cal was a 1.5-point favorite when Colby bet it, and now Clemson lays 1.5 with the total at 50.5. Colby stays on Cal anyway. Clemson is on a short week after what it just went through, while Cal had Wagner last week. Mac loves Dabo, but he won’t take him on his first trip out West. So he’s backing Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele and company in what he expects to be a tight game. The one worry is rain, because it could muck it up and favor Clemson.
The Daily Dundee: GameDay, Hot Seats And Jason Eck
GameDay is at Texas at Tennessee, and neither host is happy about four straight weeks in the SEC. Colby would have taken the show to Boise State at Western Michigan, because the winner gets the inside track on a playoff spot. Mac says Boise-Western Michigan or Morgantown for Oklahoma State at West Virginia. On the hot seat, Mac sees Beamer going first. Colby thinks a UCLA win in College Park could finish Mike Locksley. Mac also says Dave Doeren is fired Monday if App State wins at NC State. Finally, Colby calls Wisconsin the obvious landing spot for New Mexico’s Jason Eck, with Colorado as the sneaky one. Mac has Eck staying with the Lobos one more year.
