Another College Football Saturday is upon us! College Football player props are one of the most fun ways to get down on the game. I was in the stands for the Nebraska-Bowling Green game last Saturday evening, and watching Jamal Rule break a big run that sent him over his total had me cheering extra hard. So, let’s dive in and take a look at the College Football player props for Week 3.
There are a lot of good matchups on the horizon for Saturday. Florida State heads to Tuscaloosa for a matchup with Alabama. #16 SMU heads to #23 Louisville for a ranked matchup. Then, it’s all headlined by the Lane Kiffin bowl. Kiffin takes his new team, the #7-ranked LSU Tigers, to Oxford to take on the #8 Ole Miss Rebels in a thrilling top-10 SEC battle.
Jelani Thurman over 40.5 Receiving Yards (-118)
The North Carolina tight end has me excited for Saturday’s matchup in Death Valley. He’s thrived in the Tar Heel offense through their first two games. He led the team in receiving in Ireland against TCU with four big catches for 94 yards. He backed it up last week against East Tennessee State University with four more snags for 71 yards and a touchdown.
Thurman is a big-play tight end, and it may only take him two catches to hit this number. North Carolina is a small underdog in this matchup, but I believe they’ll win the game outright. Thurman will be a big part of their success.
Aiden Flora Over 79.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Iowa State plays host to the Bowling Green Falcons at Jack Trice Stadium on Saturday. As I mentioned in the opening, I was in person in Lincoln for the Falcons game against Nebraska. As much as I love my Huskers, I’m under no illusion they are the best offense in football, but I can tell you Bowling Green’s defense is bad. The Huskers ran for over 200 yards against them.
Aiden Flora played a small part in an easy Week 1 win over the Southeast Missouri State Red Hawks. But last week, when they needed him in an attempted upset bid over their in-state rivals, Flora stepped up big. He dashed for 89 yards on 19 carries, including busting open a long 34-yard run. Iowa State will run with ease all over this Falcons defense, and Flora will flow right past this number.
Daniel Hill Over 81.5 Rushing Yards (-116)
Next up, we’ll head down south to a blue blood matchup as the Seminoles of Florida State make their way to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to take on the Crimson Tide. Similar to Flora, Hill was used lightly in an easy win over ECU in Week 1. Despite that, he still scored twice on the ground. But when it came to playing an SEC opponent last week with the Kentucky Wildcats, Hill was used plenty and turned on the jets. He racked up 104 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown.
Alabama is a big favorite (-19.5) in this game; they’ll want to get up early and then pound the rock the rest of the evening. Daniel Hill is their guy; he’ll wear down this Florida State defense that gave up over 100 yards on the ground to the SMU Mustangs last time out.
Trinidad Chambliss Over 30.5 Rushing Yards (-112)
Trinidad Chambliss is a gamer. He’s facing his old coach at home, in a big SEC game, against another top-10 ranked team. In Week 1, when the Louisville Cardinals gave them all they had, Chambliss turned to his legs, rushing for 60 yards. The Rebels quarterback crossed this mark seven times in 2025, including their only regular-season loss to Georgia, where he left it all on the field. Especially with Sam Leavitt now planning to play, Ole Miss is going to need their star to leave it all on the field. He’ll do just that.
