College Football Week 3 Preview & Picks Recap
The College Football Experience (@TCEonSGPN) on the Sports Gambling Podcast Network continues its 2026 season coverage with college football week 3 picks, a full national preview and picks show. Pick Dundee aka (@TheColbyD) and Ryan McIntyre (@Moneyline_Mac) are joined by the bet detective CJ Sullivan (@CJSullivan_) to run the entire Week 3 board top to bottom. Can Bill Belichick and North Carolina steal one in Death Valley against Clemson? Is Florida State live at Alabama or does Bama bury them? Does Louisville get its revenge on SMU in the biggest ACC game on the board? Can Georgia handle its SEC opener on the road at Arkansas? And is Rutgers worth the points as a big home dog against USC?
From there the guys work all the way down the national board, from Kent State at Ohio State and UTEP at Michigan to Stanford catching the points against Duke, Mississippi State at South Carolina, the Utah State and Utah battle of the brothers, and the small-school games Colby lives for. They stack their triple-lock plays, argue the ones they split on, hand in their contest cards, and close with the Mac in the Box best-bets recap. Belichick Walks Into Death Valley And Colby Takes The Points
North Carolina catching three and a half at Memorial Stadium is the game Colby built the show around. Clemson is down to Tate Reynolds, and this is the first start of his career. The series goes back to 1897. So Colby took the points and sprinkled the moneyline on top. His case is simple. Belichick works better when the building is on fire. Spygate, Deflategate, Lawrence Taylor failing a drug test in camp in 1986. And then the Giants won the Super Bowl anyway. Turmoil is the habitat, because it always has been.
CJ wants the Carolina moneyline and he said the quiet part out loud. This could be the beginning of the end of Dabo Swinney. And he would love watching Belichick be the guy who ends it. His number is the Carolina defense at minus 0.15 net EPA per play, a top fifteen mark. Then you put a quarterback making his first career start across from it. Mac went further. Clemson ran it up on Belichick last year and embarrassed him. So Mac figures this one has been circled since week zero, the way TCU was circled. Clemson also looked brutal against Georgia Southern, and nobody in the booth has forgotten it. Double lock on the Heels plus the points.
Riding The Obvious With Georgia And Alabama
Georgia laying twenty four and a half in Fayetteville got picked at for a minute. The number kept coming down and nobody could explain why. Chat noticed it too. But Colby refused to get cute with it. Ryan Silverfield spent the offseason calling out a coach with two national titles. Gunner Stockton is somewhere around his fortieth game of college football. So a road SEC opener is not going to shake him. And the square side wins plenty of weeks. Colby said that if he goes down here, he goes down with Kirby. Then he triple locked the Dogs.
Florida State at Alabama got handled the same way. The Seminoles fired their athletic director on Monday. The vibes in Tallahassee are underwater. And Alabama lost to this team by fourteen a year ago. Colby locked the Tide and put a forty two to ten number on it. Mac said out loud that it feels square as hell. But sometimes you ride with the obvious. His version is Alabama by thirty and Mike Norvell fired on the way out. CJ called it a revenge spot where the Bama defense smothers them. Then he started stacking Georgia, Alabama and Indiana into one blue blood lay parlay.
The Most Important Game On The ACC Board Is In Louisville
Colby’s framing on SMU at Louisville is that it might be the most important ACC game of the season. Miami does not play either one of them. And those two are the next best prices to win the league. SMU was catching a point and a half at Cardinal Stadium when he pulled the game up. By the time they finished arguing, Louisville was laying two and a half. Some money is coming in on the Cards. Mac got there on the revenge angle. Because SMU ran it up on Louisville by thirty last year. Brohm had to sit through the comments afterward. So he has had this one circled.
The other piece is desperation. Louisville walked into ACC media days believing it was a playoff team. So a September loss here ends that conversation early. Big Game Brohm has to win a big game eventually. Colby also thinks SMU looked like garbage against Florida State with the turnovers and the penalties. And the knock that sticks on Kevin Jennings is that he puts the ball in harm’s way. So all three of them locked Louisville. Colby thinks the number should be closer to four. He also floated the over at fifty nine and a half as a live play.
The Dogs In The College Football Week 3 Picks: Rutgers And Stanford
USC laying twenty three and a half in Piscataway is the first Big Ten game of the season. And it is where the three of them split hardest. Colby wants the points and nothing else to do with it. He said it twice. He is on the number, he is not watching the game, he is doing nothing with the game. Then CJ locked Rutgers and called it a system play. His read is USC traveling out east to sleepwalk through a game it does not care about. So he is attaching a first half moneyline to it. He and Mac had UMass against Rutgers at twelve to one and were glad to go back to the same well. Mac’s contribution was that Lincoln Riley turns soft the second he flies to the East Coast. Also, Rutgers qualifies as a foxhole spot.
Stanford plus nine and a half against Duke is the dog they all agreed on. Stanford is off a bye with the offensive line healthy. The guys who sat out against Miami are back. Duke stole the win it got last week. And nobody in the booth thinks Duke is a nine and a half point favorite over anyone. So Colby locked it, CJ called Stanford very live, and Mac put it on the contest card. Kent State catching fifty two and a half at the Shoe got the opposite treatment. Colby laid it with Ohio State. Then he spent the segment on what a Big Noon Kickoff window says about who runs the sport now. CJ’s play on that game was no play.
Six Dollar Tickets And The Games Nobody Else Previews
This is the part of the board Colby actually gets out of bed for. Framingham State at UMass Dartmouth on Friday, where Troy dug up that a ticket runs six dollars. Then Stonehill at UMass, where CJ produced Jack O’Connell’s three hundred and eighty yards and four touchdowns against New Hampshire. In a losing effort, no less. That one shut the room up cold. Next, Duquesne catching thirty eight and a half at Washington State. It is the first Pittsburgh team ever to make the trip to Pullman. And CJ can speak on that one. Because his own school will not hand over his diploma until he settles the parking tickets. Mac took Coastal Carolina on the moneyline against Delaware. Also, the crew will be on site at Coastal for Liberty on Thursday night.
Mac In The Box Against The TMZ Card
The close is the contest card, and the split says plenty about how these three bet. Mac and CJ handed in seven plays. West Virginia plus the points, Stanford, Rice, K-State laying it, Rutgers plus twenty three, Georgia and Louisville. Rutgers is the one Charlotte type swing they build in every week. Colby plays the other side with Kramer and Sean. And his card runs Syracuse plus ten and a half on Thursday night, plus Alabama and Texas A&M. Then West Virginia, Colorado State and Michigan State plus twenty nine and a half. But he figures that last one has Sean’s fingerprints on it. So Mac in the Box and the TMZ card sit dead even at seven and seven.
Mac’s sixteen to one parlay is the one he has been shouting about since the opening block. It is Syracuse on the moneyline and West Virginia on the moneyline. He will be at the West Virginia game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. So if you are in that lot, go find him. Next up is the FCS show tomorrow. And for the record, Colby is not on Mac in the Box. He turned the seat down last year and went with the big show instead. The other two have not let it go since.
