It’s “numbered event” time once again in the UFC, with UFC 331 going down this Saturday at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. A championship rematch headlines the card, with a potential #1 contender fight in the co-main event slot. For my MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC 331, I’ve got a live dog in Saturday’s co-main event. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC 331

If you’re into betting the underdogs in the UFC, 2026 has been a pretty bad year for you, I’m guessing. This is the chalkiest year to date, with 72% of the betting favorites getting their hands raised. All this preamble is for a reason – as of now, there aren’t any underdogs I’m picking to win on Saturday at UFC 331.
However, I think there’s value on a play on Mauricio Ruffy at almost three times your money in his co-main event fight against Arman Tsarukyan. A puncher’s chance I guess you could call it. Ruffy has strong takedown defense and dynamite in his strikes (13 knockouts in 14 pro wins), so there’s a chance he wins, ever so slight.
