The case on the show was simple: in a rivalry game like this, why lay points against the home dog? The guys pointed out Kansas has historically held up in Lawrence, 7-2 in the series there dating back to 1990. Missouri won last year, but Kansas blew a 17-point second-half lead in that game and gets another crack at home. Missouri also comes in banged up, with running back Ahmad Hardy and left tackle Kaden Green both dinged. Stack that on a Friday night crowd and it read like a classic home-dog spot.
