Alabama vs Kentucky Prediction & Picks: College Football Week 2

Alabama heads to Lexington as a double-digit favorite, laying 10.5 against Kentucky with the total set at 49.5. The guys broke this one down on the College Football Picks Week 2 show, and it split the room. Alabama’s long history in this series did most of the arguing.

Alabama vs Kentucky Odds

Alabama is laying 10.5 on the road at Kentucky, and the total sits at 49.5. On the moneyline the guys read Alabama at -385 with Kentucky coming back at +300.

Our Picks

Sean Green (@SeanTGreen) and Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric) are both on Alabama -10.5. Ryan said flat out he’s going with Bama minus 10 and a half, pointing to how thoroughly Alabama has owned this series over the years. Someone on the show called it the Bear Bryant Bowl for a reason, and as one of the guys put it, laying the points here just shows you how good Alabama is.

Colby Dant (@thecolbyd) went the other way and took Kentucky +10.5. He wasn’t buying Alabama’s resume, making the case that their Week 1 win over East Carolina looked better than it actually was, so he would rather grab the double-digit points with Kentucky. Even the Alabama backers admitted there isn’t a ton to go on either side this early.
