MMA Same Game Parlay of the Week: UFC Paris
UFC Paris Lightweight Fight: Axel Sola vs Fares Ziam
Start Time: 12:00pm EST (Paramount+)
In the co-main event on Saturday, we have a pair of fighters who both come from France looking to put on for their crowd. While both are well-rounded, they both have a tendency to like to throw hands. If both are as tough as I think they are, the significant strikes plays should be easy.
Axel Sola has fought three times in the UFC and has logged at least 33 strikes in each one of them. He’s come away with at least 45 in every fight that didn’t end in the first round. Being that Fares Ziam hasn’t been finished in four and a half years, it’s reasonable to think that 35 significant strikes should come without worry.
Prior to his loss to Tom Nolan, Fares Ziam was riding a six-fight win streak. Even though a few of those were fairly grappling heavy, he still managed to put up at least 31 strikes in each one – with an average of 46 per fight. If he and Sola stay standing, coming up with another 35 shouldn’t be much of an issue either.
UFC Paris SGP: Fares Ziam 35+ Significant Strikes and Axel Sola 35+ Significant Strikes = +140
