Half-Point PPR Fantasy Football Draft Cheat Sheet: Printable PDF, Spreadsheet, and More (Updated August 30, 2026)

Half-Point Point per Reception (PPR) is a common scoring format that brings in some of the score inflation from PPR, but balances it by not awarding a full point. After all, why should a catch for zero yards gained give you a full point? That kind of runaway scoreflation has changed our perspective on fantasy football and broken our perception of football. Sure, it’s nice to see the big points and catches should be rewarded, but a catch should never equal ten yards.

So this format, and our requisite cheat sheets, are for you! You’re modern, but you respect the past. Willing to experiment and get a little adventurous, take a trip and explore some new things, but never forgetting your roots.

HOW TO USE THE CHEAT SHEET

As you dive into our printable half-point PPR cheat sheet, the first and most critical feature is the tiers. Players are ranked within the tiers, but the tiers themselves are the most important feature of the cheat sheet. Tiers are not created equal, and players within each tier are not necessarily equal either.

You should try to pick all players within a single tier before exploring the tier, but some differentiation around valuation may have your league mates missing on players they should be scooping up. Pay attention to misevaluation by your league mates and be ready to capitalize on their foolishness.

TIER 1 & TIER 2

Looking at Tier 1, we could also call this the “Guys it is Acceptable to Take 1.01 Group.” Leading it off with Ja’Marr Chase and Jahmyr Gibbs (pretty much the consensus options at 1.01), this tier is the guys to build your team around and should outpace the next tier of players by a good bit. While Chase and Gibbs top most draft boards, you can talk me into Bijan, JSN, or James Cook at the 1.01 as well. These three bring a TON of upside potential, but there is not the same level of consistency as you have gotten from the other two.

Continuing on to Tier 2, these guys should round out the first round of any half-point PPR fantasy draft, no matter what cheat sheet your friends are using. Each of these guys has a ton of upside, but something limits them. Amon-Ra plays in an offense with a lot of mouths to feed. Jefferson has subpar quarterback play. Puka Nacua is entering the Tyson Zone. All good players, but plenty of reasons to be cautious.

TIER 3 AND BEYOND

This season has a huge Tier 3. This is good for anyone who gets to pick the most from picks 14 to 36 in your league. These are good players in good situations who have a lot further to go than the guys in the top two tiers to reach the mountaintop. With players on bad teams like De’Von Achane and Malik Nabers in this tier, it all comes down to personal preference. Do you take Achane or Nabers, or do you take the aging Derrick Henry? Or maybe you jump on the early quarterback bandwagon with Allen, Jackson, or Burrow?

However you want to attack Tier 3, you need to be ready for some of these picks to miss, but if you can get three picks in this range, you’ll likely hit on two.

Beyond Tier 3, there are plenty of reasons to pause in each tier. We get into teams’ second options in Tier 4. While Tier 5 is littered with unproven young players and injury bounce-backs.

No matter where you pick, the official Degens Only Half-Point PPR Fantasy Football Cheat Sheet is here for you!
