Cincinnati Reds vs Arizona Diamondbacks

I’ve zeroed in on this National League matchup between the Cincinnati Reds and the Arizona Diamondbacks for my best bet on Saturday. The Reds have nothing left to play for, having all but been eliminated from playoff contention. The Snakes, meanwhile, are still in the hunt, with an estimated 46% chance of seeing the postseason this fall.
Which brings us to tomorrow’s action: the penultimate game between the two teams this season. The D-Backs entered Friday night’s action up 2-1 in the series, and looking at the scoreboard right now, the odds are they’ll be up 3-1 come tomorrow night’s game.
And I like Arizona to push that lead to 4-1 after the dust settles on Saturday night. Not only are the Diamondbacks the superior team in this matchup, but they are playing at home, where they are 36-27 (the ninth-best home mark in the majors). Plus, with the resurrected Michael Soroka starting on the bump for the home side tomorrow, I like Arizona’s chances even more.
So, you guessed it – the Arizona Diamondbacks on the moneyline is my best bet for Saturday.
