I’m not making any wild swings on plays tomorrow – all three of my picks are household names. Let’s start in the Midwest, as the Kansas City Royals host the (West Sacramento) Athletics.

Jeffrey Springs is expected to start for the visitors tomorrow, and he allows among the most homers in the majors this season. Royals star Bobby Witt Jr. has a 75% hard hit rate for his career against Springs, so I like his chances of reaching the seats on Wednesday.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs Colorado Rockies

Start Time: 8:40 PM EST

When it comes to household names, there are none more so in baseball today than the Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani. After a two-home run performance on Monday, Ohtani is up to a team-best 29 dingers this season.

Which is a low total for the Japanese superstar, so he’s bound to go on a homer spree. Tomorrow is a good day to start, as he has three homers in 19 career at-bats against Rockies starter Kyle Freeland.
