Seattle Mariners vs Milwaukee Brewers
Start Time: 7:40 PM EST
The best team in the major leagues, the Milwaukee Brewers, host an also-ran from the American League, the 59-66 Seattle Mariners, tomorrow night in Brew City. Yet, we’re getting a very playable moneyline on the Brewers, and I don’t get why, and I’m trying to figure out if it’s a trap.
It’s definitely not because of where the game is being played, as the Brew Crew are 41-22 at American Family Field, and the Mariners are only 26-37 playing outside of the Pacific Northwest, the sixth-worst road record in the majors.
Maybe it’s the pitching matchup? Logan Gilbert has been very solid for Seattle this season, but Milwaukee counters with the newly acquired Dustin May, who has only allowed three earned runs in 13 innings since joining his new team.
As these words are being typed, the Brewers are leading the Mariners 13-0(!!) in Game 1 of this series, making me even more confident of my play tomorrow. The Milwaukee Brewers on a criminally low moneyline is my best bet for Wednesday.
